This July, an extraordinary fundraising challenge will be taking place, with donations going towards work in your local community. Danny Hanlon, Bernie Stone, James Brent and Will Collings Wells will be attempting to swim the Dál Riata Channel from Mull of Kintyre, Scotland to Northern Ireland, in relay. The tide is so fast that the team need to swim at 3.5 kmph to have a chance at making it to the finish posts. That is double the speed of an Olympic 10K swimmer! The donations from their wild swim will be going towards 3 great causes, including the Alchemy Charitable Trust. The money raised means that we can continue to help families and individuals with nowhere to turn across the whole of West Kent and Sussex. You can read some brilliant examples about our work on our Facebook page. Wishing the team the very best of luck - watch out for those jelly fish!
